The Bednorz seal is used in particular to secure TIR cable end pieces of tarpaulin trucks, box trucks, rail wagons, tankers and containers as well as boxes and other packages. It is extremely versatile
In conjunction with the Bednorz extension, which can be variably cut to length, sealing openings that are any distance apart can be connected; and with its significantly smaller width and thickness, the Bednorz extension can also serve as an "adapter" if the sealing openings are too small for the Bednorz seal.
This newly developed metal band seal is made of matt galvanised sheet steel. The design of the seal guarantees a high level of tamper-resistance. The main body is made of one piece so that the seal cannot be taken apart and put back together again.
To close the seal, it has to be tamper-proof.
To close the seal, the end of the band is bent forward and the oval opening is brought together with the pin. Both parts of the seal head must be pressed together until a clearly audible ""click"" sound is heard. When closed, the integrity can be checked by moving the seal band. The closure of the Bednorz seal leaves no room for tool tips of any kind; it is not possible to open the seal manually without leaving traces. The raised edge serves as additional protection for the closed seal (see instructions for applying and testing the Bednorz seal).
As a standard marking, the Bednorz seal has a letter and a consecutive 7-digit numbering. If desired, a text of up to 17 characters (including spaces) can also be embossed. Alternatively, it is possible to apply a barcode or DataMatrix code by laser inscription.
A side cutter is required to remove the seal.
